Question Best gaming Steering Wheel ???

Been thinking of getting myself a wheel of some sort to use with my PS3. It'll be mainly used for GT5 and Dirt 2 & 3.

The logitech G27 seems to be the obvious choice but I've also been looking at the Fanatec range. They seem to be a lot of money compared to a G27 which you can pick up for £160 from pixmania.

What's people's experiences with either ???

G27 or G25 are best for price with GT5 or other racing games,ThrustMaster GT5 series are just nice and probably best which i've tried, but really expensive

Not tried the new fanatecs but there were issues with build quality a couple of years ago.
I run a G27. For semi serious racing its perfect.
If you are being really serious then a load cell brake is a must.

Uprated load cell is just a much harder elastomer to stick under the brake pedal! Gives it a much more realistic feel as theres something to push against!

id say the G27 is the only way to go! Get an old car seat, build a frame and you wont look back! The clutch pedal and H pattern box make getting stuff right soooo much more satisfying!

Seen a spring upgrade on Ebay for the G27 pedals. Fanatec also do a tuning kit for their clubsport pedals.
TBH I'm probably looking at going for the Fanatec GT3 RS Wheel with clubsport pedals. Seem to be very good quality kit.
