I only use a netbook now for all my pc needs but obviously i don't have a cd drive and the burning capabilities that go with it. I've seen you can get a stand alone usb type drive but are they any good? or is there another option?

A external writer to use with the NetBoot you mean?

If so yes a USB writer will be fine

I was leaning towards that for no other reason than the fact it's top loading so less to go wrong

Good thread, i'm in the same position ust using a netbook and was looking for a cd burner too, looks like Amazon is the place to go for one
