I am just lapping up any kind of snippet of BF3 media, i`m totally suckered in.
I really want the thing on Steam, which is annoying as hell, as its looking dubious on the Steam marketplace.
Might just buy PC retail.

Damn that looks amazing. Pre-ordered for PC a couple of weeks ago but I'm worried by aged rig isn't going to be anywhere near good enough to enjoy it in the glory of these videos!

I think the fact they moved the release date to oct and 2 weeks before MW3 has pretty much made my mind up to pre-order BF3 over MW3.
Only BF game Ive played at length was 2142 and that was awesome. I loved the gunships on titan mode once I learnt how to fly one. Still never managed to pilot and man the camera guided missile like the really good players

The console versions will probably be the same and I have now read that Jets are in, but the PC version will still have bigger maps and more players. It was the same with BF2, console version was still good though.

aye ive just upgraded most of my PC, well CPU and swapped to a SSD
the Proc seemed to be the real bottle neck, after the CPU upgrade (e6750 > i5 2500k) my old 4890 seemed more than happy

Good card the 4890, had one before my current 470 but then it decided to overheat and meltdown. Got an older i5 at the moment, might have to start overclocking it though to get the most out of it.
