Ive got 2 webcams and 2 USB ports is it possible to run the webcams together for different views or will they just conflict with each other.

I can't see a problem if you connect them directly to your PC. If you go via a hub, though, they'll be competing for bandwidth on the link between the hub and the PC, so the resolution and/or frame rate you can achieve will be reduced. A webcam does quite a good job of clogging up a USB link on its own.
