Are there any freeware progs that will allow a webcam to record mpg (or similar). I want to connect a webcam to my laptop and record video and then upload to webspace.

LMAO @ messiah, i dont think ive mentioned it to be honest

But then, she wouldnt really be interested in video footage from a scooby drivers perspective

So, any ideas anyone?

Can you not just capture it as AVI and then convert to MPG afterwards ?

I could but the only method i have of capturing video/sound is using Movie Maker but this isnt the correct format.

Can anyone shed any light on this?
