Question Anyone here use Hyperion Web Analyser

I'm trying to create a report and am facing a bit of a hurdle - do you use it? Are you a bit of a wizard?

Interested in one specific dimension.
Effectively pulling all leaf level (AKA dimension bottom / level zero) records WHERE a specific attibute is set.
[I have got this to work no problem]
What I now need to do is also add in the Level 1 parents for the level 0 results and then organise in hierarchical order.

Can't use the attribute flag as that only exists at level 0.

Manually adding / sorting ain't an option.

Used to be a piece of pi55 using Oracle Financial Analyser - New software has take a huge step backwards IMHO.

Tried with Web Analyser / Web Analysis Studio / Financial reporting and Smartview - all without joy

Okay: this is a three Dimensional Cube

Thinking about the dimension called Month for example:

Call it "Time" instead:

That new dimension could include:

Year Total, Quarter 1,2,3,4 and the individual months:

Year Total
Quarter 1
Jan
Feb
Mar
Quarter 2
Apr
May
Jun
Quarter 3
Jul
Aug
Sep
Quarter 4
Oct
Nov
Dec

That above is the hierarchical organisation of the dimension "Time"

Year Total [Generation 1, Level 2]
Quarter 1 [Generation 2, Level 1]
Jan [Generation 3, Level 0]
Feb [Generation 3, Level 0]
Mar [Generation 3, Level 0]
Quarter 2 [Generation 2, Level 1]
Apr [Generation 3, Level 0]
May [Generation 3, Level 0]
Jun [Generation 3, Level 0]
Quarter 3 [Generation 2, Level 1]
Jul [Generation 3, Level 0]
Aug [Generation 3, Level 0]
Sep [Generation 3, Level 0]
Quarter 4 [Generation 2, Level 1]
Oct [Generation 3, Level 0]
Nov [Generation 3, Level 0]
Dec [Generation 3, Level 0]

If that helps?
