Default Can Nero burn a .Avi file to dvd disc ?

Ive got Nero 10, ive used various versions of nero in the past and ive never spotted an option where Nero can burn a .avi file straight to dvd.

The way ive done it in the past is to use ConvertXtodvd to convert the .avi file then used nero to burn it to disc, just wondering if their is a way in nero to burn this type of file direct onto a dvd disc.

Just burn it as a data disk. but that will just have the file on the dvd and not a playable dvd unless your dvd player does avi files.

Yes you can, open Nero vision.

Create DVD, open source .avi

Click next and add menus and so on.

At the end make sure you burn it at the slowest you can to avoid sync issues.

dvd flick is a free download and is so simple to use, never failed me. Used Nero years back and always found it to be overly complicated

Nero Vision needed a an activation code to be able to use it even though i had a full version of Nero 10.

I decided to use ConvertXtodvd and that converts great and burns really well from the first few things ive done, really easy to use as well.
