Goodbye Firefox
After running with FF until V4, iv'e had enough,
what used to be a streamlined quick bloat free browser, has now become a lumbering leviathon.
If i opened new tabs they would freeze, fail to open or if the dreaded plugin container went down, it would kill the system generating a a dumprep.exe file, which was usefull to??? no one, as the dam thing never got sent.
If i closed it down, you could no longer open it straight up again, as it was still running...
Just taken the plunge and installed chrome, a few tweaks , and its how i want it
and its noticably quicker
lets see how well it integrates with the phone now....

I don't have the same problems you have with Firefox Mart, but I agree it keeps on growing.
Stick with Chrome, it is built on the same platform as Safari, but is more streamlined, quicker and has better CSS support.

Just tested it here http://beta.html5test.com/ and lost against Chrome. Doh! It's still the best though as Chrome doesn't work properly on my operating system.

I've also moved from Firefox to Chrome and am better off for it. Still have Firefox installed though as I have some handy addons for it such as a TOR button, which I need when at work.

chrome, safari are both good webkit browsers and the only 2 which are fully html5 compliant.
FF is quite possible one of the worst (not as bad as IE however) but its full of memory leaks, any JS or flash or anything intensive for that matter causes a great decrease in performance. I only ever use chrome (unless check for browser compatibility in web apps). Its by far the fastest of them all, most lightweight, and always provides a good html output unlike that of nearly all other browsers which all seem to manage to find something wrong, or simply generate the canvas's wrong.
Chrome FTW!!
