Just got into gaming on line after months of upgrading my p.c. for this very purpose and wanted to get a copy of Counter Strike, having played it at the weekend at a friends I was hooked.

I have searched the net looking to buy this and it seems unavailable, is it now deleted?? i thought this was one of the most popular games ever for the p.c. or is it know by another name.
I have seen in this forum that CS is very popular so im hoping one of u guys will have the ansa.
Your help is appreciated

I got a copy from Ebay for about £13. It's worth having a look.

Funkii - CS hasn't been deleted from the web. Its more popular than ever!

To get you up and running you need the following
Orginal copy of Half Life - buy from your local store
Half-Life Patch version 1.008 (ver 1.009 being released maybe this week)
CS Patch version 1.3 (ver 1.4 being released maybe this week)

You can download both patches from the internet, but I can't remember where

Get Half Life Generations.

It has HL, CS and Team Fortress Classic. (3 CDs) about £20.

Ignore HL and TFC and just load the CS CD. Then download the RETAIL upgrade, and off you go.

Buy HalfLife original from Electronics Boutique for £9.99. Then download HL 1.0.0.8 and CS 1.3 from www.fileplanet.com (free upgrades).

Just been announced CS 1.4 and HL 1.0.0.9 are being released tomorrow (Wed). There'll be a wait for the downloads because of the amount of people after them.

J
