Red face Just found an old works laptop in my loft room!

And by old I mean old
Its an old texas instruments extensa 355, pentium MMX and windows 95, battery was flat, shoved a power supply on there and booted up first time
Down sides is that the hdd is all of 1.51gb in size and I have forgotten how basic windows 95 was and its telling me that the anti virus hasn't been updated for 153 months but it works, no naff screen, all ok there, but now what to do with it.... its an old works one, has some documents on, no cd drive, just a floppy (not a problem there, ive lots of 3.5 inch floppy discs floating around).

So do I give it to my nephew for his school work (it has word 97 on there ) but he may need to take up weights to carry it (its not exactly light) or do I bung it on ebay, or just put it back in its bag/box for another 5-10 years?

We still have WIN95 "Dinosaur" laptops in use at work.... no joke!

It's because of some legacy serial port DOS software that won't work under anything else.

I've got a Texas Instruments Ti 58 that I used at school in 1978
