Default DOT TK

Something called dot tk seems to have latched onto my PC and I haven't a clue what it is (something about domain names) but it interferes with my Google searches with some banner re-directing me.

Do you recognise this crude description and how do I get rid of it please?

Thanks, David

Thanks for that. I have run Malwarebytes but have downloaded Combofix but it wasn't clear to me how you actually run the programme. I am also a bit nervous about it as there seem to be an awful lot of warnings about being a PC expert to use it - and I am not one of those!

I have also run Spybot with no problems being reported and am 5 hours into a full AdAware scan. Kaspersky seemed to have missed it.

So I am trying but it's a bloody nuisance. David

Combofix is easy to use,its automated Anti spyware and malware SW,which will remove all spyware/malware.
After scanning and after restarting(if find some spy or malwares),you must just click on repair your internet connection..

About the Malwarebytes, best if you could use in Safe mode,in safe mode you have better results and usually will find all(if is there something).
