Windows 7 product key......
My daughter has had her laptop since xmas. Its been in under warranty to have a new hdd fitted and all has been great since.
Her free office software ran out last night so I had a spare code from my office 2003 disc that would do her.
All installed fine and worked great too. I shut down and put her laptop back in its case and I noticed some stickers underneath had been removed. It suddenly dawned on me that she'd removed the Windows product key and the computer serial number
On asking her where she'd put them I got the reply "in the bin" 
On asking her why she'd ripped them off I got the reply "dunno" My missus hit the roof with her............
With the computer having been in to be repaired I'm sure I'll have the serial number on the receipts but is there any way of getting the Windows product key again in case I have to re-install Windows in the future?
