Bought a Mustek 1200 USB scanner from them on 30/03 used it once to scan in 3 pictures.
Tried it last week and the lamp won't light, flickers then goes off.
Ok, fair enough me thinks, give them a ring and get it changed
15 minutes on hold to be told...
Nope, I've got to ring a 50p a minute help line as it might be a driver issue.
Can I get through? Heck no
Poor bu99gers that have paid out a grand or two wanting a service call on a PC
Sounds like £40 down the drain for me.
Anyone else had agro from this crew?

Mega,
i know nothing about Time as a company, but have a browse around http://www.timesupport.com/ to see if you can register your problem/complaint on-line or via e-mail.
If not, then why not write a (paper) letter formally rejecting the product as not fit for purpose, cost - one stamp and a bit of time. Say that you will charge them storage for their goods from one week onwards
If you want to be more devious, find their 0800 (freephone) sales numbers )it is on the above web-site) and call them and ask to be transferred to the service or warranty department. If they can't do this for your, at least the call (however many you make) is (are) free!!!!

Managed to get through this afternoon....They admitted it was their mistake Being a scanner they can change it over for a new one in the shop.
Wasted 1/2 an hour of my time though
Still, got the result I wanted in the end
