If you're after a free copy, then frankly I doubt you'll be investing the time or effort to get the most out of the full version in any case. Many scanners and cameras come with version 5.0LE, which is what I use. My Photoshop work has been generally well received

There's a free downloadable demo of the full version on Adobe's web site, if you don't believe me.

If you really want the full version without paying for it, then hang your head in shame and flog yourself with birch twigs until you see the error of your ways. Although I despise the general attitudes towards their customers of many software companies (needlessly restrictive licenses, lack of warranty and support, litigious nature), their development staff often do good work and deserve to get paid.

Andy.
