Reccomendations for Wii games
As above i've just bought a Wii console and Wii sports package plus i bought Colin Mcrae dirt 2
was just wondering what you guys would reccomend, i like drivin games,shooter,arcade,retro etc

I had one for about 3 weeks, I love racing games too, you just cant play them on it so I bought a ps3 instead. wii is great for bowling etc though, but then again ps3 has move now too. not much help sorry.

Resident Evil 4(best resident evil game in my opinion)
Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2
New Super Mario Brothers
Wii Sports Resort is pretty good.
Mario Kart.

Ive just sold my Wii with 60 games I never used it
- loved resi evil 4Mario and sonic olympic games is great the winter one was rubbish
dont forget Wii 2 is due soon

To say that the Wii console is only for kids is one of the funniest comments I have ever heard. Wii is an awesome console and lots of games are much more interesting than 80% of the crap that gets released on Xbox 360 and PS3. Some people are just lured into ****ty gameplay with pretty graphics and don't care about innovative gameplay anymore. I remember when Sony and Microsoft were not taking Nintendo serious when Nintendo released the Wii console. Looks like the ideas wasn't that bad and they turned into copy cats. I also believe that the new Nintendo console which will be announced this E3 will be great but we will see...
As far as shooters go the already mentioned
Resident Evil 4 is top notch. I would also
recommend a little known game called
Sniper Elite. It's a second world war based
sniper game and has an awesome feature
when you make a great shot the camera
tracks the bullet to the target, loads of
blood and guts
New Super Mario is great multi player fun
Dirt 2 I found the steering a little awkward
The LEGO series games are good fun
TrackMania is a great driving game for the wii

Have a look on the Virtual Console as well plenty of games from the Neo Geo,NES,SNES,Master System and Megadrive.
I liked the new Goldeneye (with classic controller),the online is pretty good as well.
