Question

I've already got a PS2, now looking for an additional console for some different games (mainly platform, rpg, action etc). Can't decide, The Xbox appears to be the most powerful and is also another DVD player, Gamecube seems to be the more traditional console focusing just on games & gameplay.

Looking to get a couple of games probably Halo & munch or Luigi's mansion & star wars rogue leader (really fancy flying an X-Wing fighter towards the exhaust port of the deathstar).

Thinking X-Box has better future potential, but that Gamecube may have the better games for a while.

Agh, just can't decide.

Neither (at the moment)

I'm waiting for a game to appear on either system that will actually make me shell out £199

No sign yet.

Cool

Zelda and Mario Sunshine on the Gamecube should be enough to make you part with £160.

I've been looking at the future releases for both, and it looks like the Gamecube is going to have the better choice of games for me i.e platformers etc. also helps that it now has the resident evil series.

Now to prices, does £199.97 for a gamecube with star wars & an extra controller sound a good deal ?

Yep, sounds like a good deal, who is that from? I checked with a couple of places locally, who told me they could not discount the hardware at all the best they could do was 'any games bought with the console will be £30 each'

It's Jungle.com, I don't think the extra controller is official but I'm not bothered because I won't be using it very often.

btw I've just ordered mine.
