Anyone late for work due to alarm not working?

Seems more than just a few iPhone users were:

The problem has been around a while, but Apple hasn't fixed it yet.

Mine worked perfectly, but I booked a wake up call just in case. Those people must be using an old version.

Apparently only affected people that set an alarm through the calender app not the normal alarm app. Why would you set an alarm for work on the calender anyway as apposed to a recurring alarm on the normal app?
