Default Nintendo 3DS

Anyone got one of these yet?

I was in Game this morning and they were flying out of the door, I was buying Crysis 2 but i'm pretty sure everyone else was in there buying a 3DS and it was really busy.
Any first opinions?

It's ****ing awesome imo. The 3D image blew my brains..... it's quite some achievement to get this kind of technology so quickly to consumers imo.

Very very impressed.

I've played with it and it is impressive. The games are not really good enough to warrant swapping my daughter's DSI for though.

Perhaps in a few months.

I see a lot of people complaining that they have had to turn the 3d off as it hurts their eyes and gives them a headache.

I will probably hang on and see what games come out before I buy one. I jumped in an bought the ds and it sat in the drawer most of the time as most of the games are crap.

psp 2 out ater this year and from the reviews i've read its the proper hanheld console where the 3ds seems a bit of a gimmick so far.

Nintendo have a long history of building top quality hand held consoles, the DS smashed sales of the PSP, people said the touch screen would be a gimick when it came out

I've been really impressed with the one I bought!
Pilotwings Resort looks pretty cool in 3d
I picked mine up from Gamestation at midnight on launch day and was entered into a draw to win a 3DS. Bought a blue one and ended up winning a black one as well!!!

I have played with one and they are very impressive. If they can make a TV with a proper viewing angle like this without needing glasses they will be on to a winner.

Yeah... no **** Sherlock! £60 my ****! They don't even mention the word "profit" either. I love some of these internet "articles".

Would be zero good to you Pete.... your eyes are way too old and your reactions way too slow. Stick with your clipboard, flat cap and Civic.

I had a play of one, and the 3d effect in Mii creator was good. But then I played Ridge Racer and it made me go a bit cross eyed.

I got one of these today as an early birthday present as I was getting bored with the 360. I got it with Ridge Racer and will be getting Street Fighter on Thursday. Must say i'm really impressed. The graphics for the video intro were better than I expected and the 3D effect works really well! It's a fun hand held great for a gaming 'quick fix'.
