Default Wireless router and ip camera

Hi I have just bought an IP camera and set it up to work on the wire but it wont connect wirelessly.

I have been told that these are a bit pinicky and better to set up another network just for these. Not sure how though so looking for some advice.

I am on BT infinity which is wireless n and runs off a modem into a router. Off this router runs a vodafone signal booster and my tv too. I have no spare ports though.

I do have a spare BT router. I am wondering that if I got a RJ hub/splitter and ran it from the modem, and connected it separately, on wireless g, will that separate my wireless N for use on laptop and phone from IP camera that only needs g?

I hope this makes sense!?

Thanks

Some devices will only work with WEP encryption, silly but true, worth a check.

checked this but no joy.

Just wondering...can I connect another Bt Homehub to my internet/incoming hub and use it as a wired router/extender to the internet/incoming hub?

thanks
