converting CD to MP3

I have several (cd) audio books that i want on my ipod. Having already bought them i do not want to to have to do so again.

The cd's are copyrighted and will not copy so how do i do it?

Windows media player can do this, there is a ripping option, change it to MP3 and it'll do it for you.

Are you saying that iTunes won't rip them for you because it thinks you'd be in breach of some copyright law? Never known any CD to have copy protection to stop them being ripped?
