You don't say what the m/b *model* number is. And that might be the chip id but what is the network card/make? Or is it on-board? Try the m/b manufacturers web site if they supplied the network card - if they haven't got one they might know a man who does .....

try letting windows fix it..click on my computer..then the system properties tab (at top) then device manager on top left hand side then it should have a warning mark or something at the side of each thing that does not work ..click it then follow instructions ..might work worth a bash
