Question

Any software that will do the full rip and encode a 5.4Gb DVD on to a 4.6Gb DVD disc?

Nero is good, but doesn't allow movie resize?

Shaun - yeh looks good that software, I found this on it:

Scoty - basically looks like you will need more than 1 app to get the desired result.

SMARTRIPPER to get the info from the DVD
REMPEG2 to re-encode it (if the main DVD file > 4gb)
SPRUCEUP to put menus on and format for writing software
PRISMO to record back to DVD-R

Roxio Video Pack 5 ??
I use this to re-encode, pull out .wav etc, but only on vcd & svcd not dvd, as I havn't got a dvd burner..yet There are dvd options though.

Forgot to add, you can change the compression frame rates, edit scenes out & compile your own startup browser option page.

This is one of the best video editing, re-encoding software suites that I have used...
but I'm sure there are better ones
