I know this can be done, but I was wondering if theres any software I can get to convert NTSC (American DVDs) to PAL (english DVDs) as the tv I want to use only allows PAL and most of my DVDs are American.

Not sure about the software converter. Easiest bet is to use an external hardware converter. You should be able to pick one up from Maplins, there are about £50.

What sort of output are you using? composite? rgb?
