Question
In Outlook XP, there's an option to set up an email account and connect to an HTTP email service - such as hotmail. Does anyone know if this is a standard protocol that I've completely missed, and/or if there's some gateway software I can install on my server?

Possibly, but they also have an HTTP interface for getting through firewalls
