Help please

The fan in my HP Pavillion dv6000 laptop has started making a grating sound which doesn't seem healthy and has started to turn itself off after a couple of hours.

I've vacuumed it out through the ventilation slots (Henry not Dyson) but has made no difference.

Is it a matter of unduing a lot of little screws under the laptop and swapping the fan ??

Do places like Maplins do them as there is one on my way to work ??

Any help most appreciated
