I have still not finished Fallout 3
I go through phases with it, sometimes i can sit and play for 6 hours straight, and then i will not touch it for months
IIRC i have finished the Mothership Zeta DLC and the one that sends you back as another character (the combat heavy one with the winterised power suit at the end?)
In the main campaign i do recall finding my dad after the virtual reality section, and then he has told me to bugger off and get the GECK thing.
I think i am reasonably near the end of the main story, but i do belive i have another 2 DLC`s left to complete on it
Promised myself i would finish F3 before going anywhere near vegas, hopefully that is about a year away, when i can pick up a GOTY edition and get all the DLC for nothing
The review i saw for Vegas said it was buggy as hell mind....

I managed to finish F3 and still miss things that my mate said I should have needed to do in order to complete the game.
I've got FO:NV (PC) installed it but to be honest I'm not sure I can be bothered to put all those hours in. Especially as the new Call of Duty game is out soon.

Enjoying it at the mo,quite like the challenges, bit harder than FO3 as you do seem to meet more enemies quite quickly and you don't have the high spec armour/weapons although i do like the ability to make different ammo types and the real iron sights.
Found a few glitches, enemy stuck in rock killed him couldn't loot body and for one of the missions for Ranger Jackson the last creature was stuck in a wall so you could VATS it so had to guess when you could shoot it.

I have had the game freeze on me a couple of times but nothing serious as I save regularly. It definitely takes more hits to kill people but since I saved the deputy in primm and picked up the incinerator I just burn people alive now

Got NV, but also completed FO3. Never played the earlier versions, so playing Fallout3 I was quite happy to wander across miles of open country finding new locations. Then it became boring, but that time I had discovered lots of locations and could "warp" between them easily where necessary avoiding lots of walking.
Started playing NV and I'm not happy with all the walking to discover new places. I realise that it would change the game dymanics completely, but some sort of petrol/electric/alcohol scooter would have been useful.
Also there appears to be less NPC's in FO:NV (complared to FO3) so far., although I've not actually reached New Vegas yet. So less to do and making it less interesting as a RPG.

It is buggy but such a fun game imo. Graphics engine needs an update too.. it looks awful on the consoles (but what doesn't).
Tip: find the knuckle dusters asap, VATS + knuckle dusters = limbs falling off everywhere.

Miniman all you have to do is discover them then you can warp to them but the long walks do help to build up XP with the random encounters of creatures and gangs.
The settlements (and map) are a lot smaller than FO3 imo so less NPCs,there are plenty of missions as I've done about 18 missions (main and side).
Bearo this is a more of a quick fix to get more monies imo as Fallout 4 is in developement and Elder Scrolls 5 (or the MMO) are in developement.

This is true, went round a mates on Fri and that was the first time I've played MW2 on a PS3 instead of the PC I play at home - the quality of the GFX was shocking in comparison to the PC.
