Default Need virus removal advice

Looks like our home PC has picked up a trojan virus, Kapersky has found this,

trojan-psw.win32.mifeng.fj

Any advice on how to get rid of it?

I've been running mcafee with the windows firewall. Ran spybot and malaware and neither found anything. I ran the online kapersky and it found the virus.
Done a google and I can find lots of tools to remove - at a cost..

Surely there's a cheaper way, given I'm supposedly protected.

I would try AVG... Win32 is Internet related. there is one going around at the moment that hacks your isp and blocks you from Internet access. i would try to delete this before it gets to that stage.

Try AVG... also try Malware bytes *spelling*

other then that just keep googling. Yahoo usually has some helpful forum advice to virus detection

The virus creates this registry entry :

Code:
# [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]

    * (Default) = "%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\Connection Wizard\Explorer.exe"
Locate it & zap it to prevent the virus starting on boot.
It drops this file :

Code:
%ProgramFiles%\Internet Explorer\Connection Wizard\Explorer.exe
Again, locate it & kill it.
