Mousemat vs GamingMat
OK, so my old mousemat was a disgrace and having a mug of tea spilt on it, it found the bin.
I bought a cheap fabric mousemat from ebay, but with the wireless optical mouse, it is stuttering and basically not accurate.
So i'm after a better mousemat. Are the gaming pads any better, or worth 5x the amount? Can someone point me in the direction of a good, recommended mouse mat. Thanks.

I have a Razor goliathus mat. I like it but I'm not sure its worth it. I bought razor mouse and keyboard so thought what the hell and bought the mat too.
Most expensive input combo for me and its OK but not really worth the dosh.

Yeah Edd, that's a bit expensive. I've dug up these two which seem ok, don't know if anyone has used them.

I'm using a Razor Goliathus Speed Edition mat and love it.
I'm not a gamer, but was given this mat by a friend who got sent 2 by mistake from an online retailer. The best mouse mat I've used, and sooooo much better than the cheapy ones I've had before.
Think LINK is mine and well worth the £8.99 (even better as a freebie)
And YES, I would pay £8.99 for another.

I haven't seen anyone using a mouse mat for years. With the optical mice you don't need them in my experience. Unless your desk has the kind of surface which the optical mice don't like. I used one of a really shiny black desk in a hotel recently and the mouse wouldn't pick up any movement at all.
