my sister-in-law has just set up broardband through talktalk but they say she needs to upgrade windows... the laptop she has (old-ish) is running windows 6 and they say she will need windows 7. whats the beat and fastest way to upgrade?

ps the laptop connects to the net but wont show and pages, she just gets *internet explorer can not display this page* message all the time

She has been fobbed off by TalkTalk though, her browser has nothing to do with the reason she can not connect to the web.

Just click download latest version or following this, left click, wait 5 seconds or so and click save

Seeing as your sis in law wants it, you will need to find a way to get it on to her PC (burn it to a disk, put it on a flash drive etc)

Her problem getting a connection to the net has noting to do with her choice of browser though, tell her to phone back talktalk and tell them to stop talking ****e.
