Question Sky Broadband any issues?

Hi all
looking to change from pipex to sky including the unlimited phone and line rental. Has anyone had any issues with there sky broadband and what s the easiest way of getting a Mac code out of pipex. I know that i should be able to get the mac code stright away as its computer generated, i'll quote the ofcom guide lines aswell.
Thanks

Can't speak regarding the MAC code.

I have sky BB (up to 10mb) & telephone calls also

Its fine, speed for me is approx 7 Mb

However if you have a problem, be prepared for "Indian Calling" though to be fair most are like that nowadays.

If you call at night or early morning then chances are its India.
If you call afternoon then its Scotland and you'll be greated with a sensible person who will ask relevant questions

I've only had one problem really, unfortunately they said it was something at the exchange and it took maybe 1.5 days to resolve.

Thanks for the info....gave pipex a call and they are now paying my line rental and given me unlimited download for the same price thus saving me £120 a year on a 1 month rolling contract so staying with them for the forseable

I believe that sky BB & sky talk are costing £15 per month in total.
BB = £5
Talk with free evening & weekend calls = £10 (that includes BT's line rental which BT get fomr SKY)
