I have an app TripAdvisor Local Picks which I use a lot in London to check out places to eat.

I used it today and it has stopped working - I open it and within 15-30secs is just closes. It is not dependent on where I have navigated too in the app is just closes.

It has worked for two months. I recently updated my OS - not sure if I have used it since then.

Is this likely to be the problem?

Very annoying as I really wanted to test it out as I need to find somewhere for dinner, now!

Sounds as though it might not be compatible with the iPhone update. What you might want to do is delete the app from the iPhone, then jump into iTunes and check to see if there is an update to the app and download it if there is. Regardless of that, resync the app with the iPhone and see if the problem still occurs.

The last update to the app was in December so I am guessing there is no update. Sometimes it runs for two or three minutes and then goes off!

The wierd thing is that it works everywhere but the hotel room I am in. As soon as I left the room it was fine. No obvious difference in signal (strong). Very wierd!

Great app though, found a brilliant restaurant!

Perhaps the Hotel got a bad review so blocked TripAdvisor, not likely but possible.
