Default Unformatting EXT3/NTFS - PLEASE HELP!!

Hi guys,

was experimenting with a NAS which has now turned out fault (SUmvision Aero NAS) and have now ended up with the following:

Removed a SATA from my FreeNAS in the hope of moving data off it to a backup PC (win7). Windows couldn't see it so I had to use ext2fs and allocate drive letters etc.... still no joy!

Ended up formatting the harddrive using NTFS (deciding against backup of files as they were not important) only to realise after its all done that I had photos i needed on there

It was a proper format via Win Explorer (not quick format)!

Just wondered what my options were given it was an ext3 drive (Freenas) and then i formatted using NTFS file structure??

Cheers

Have a read of this which mentions to try knoppix. Not sure if it'll help any, but it's worth a shot.

I've used Ontrack Easy Recovery Professional many times with excellent results...

Good luck
