Mobile Broadband dongle on Mac
Does anyone know what mobile broadband dongle will work with Mac with Snow Leopard?
I have a Huawei E220 and there are still no updated drivers for the Mac. I can get it to work but it is clunky.
Also Vodafone who provide it have cut me off again as for the fourth month in a row they have screwed up my Direct Debit. I am out of contract so going to tell them to shove it!
So new Dongle required but I have not seen one that lists Mac compatability.
...or should I just tether my iPhone - any experiences positive or negative - £15 for 5GB.

I'm trying to recall if the Rogers 3G mobile USB stick think my wife came home with a few weeks back was mac compatible. I know I tried it on her Vista laptop and it worked, but I cannot remember if I tried it on my iMac, have a feeling I did not though.
I've emailed Rose to ask if she could nab one for me and if so I'll give it a shot and report back.
As for iPhone tethering, I have tried it on a couple of machines, Windows and OS X and it certainly worked as advertised. I only used USB tethering though, so I cannot comment on Bluetooth tethering.
Data wise, my current stats for cellular networking are:
Sent: 97 MB
Received: 783 MB
That is since I've had the phone, so July 2009.
For tethering the usage is:
Sent: 1.4 MB
Received: 7.7 MB
I didn't use the tethered connection that much, just a quick browse to a couple of sites to verify I could get to them (I had network issues and it seemed to be DNS related, so I wanted to get the openDNS server addresses so I could bypass my ISP's DNS servers and see if that helped, which it did) and to pull out a bit of info.
If you're not going to be downloading music, movies, applications and just general browsing and perhaps some Youtube or similar usage you should be ok for the 5GB.

I use my Voda Huawei dongle with Snow Leopard.
I used the Voda connect sw to install the drivers, then uninstalled the SW. I then created a manual dial-up connection using the Huawei network connection, using internet (ap), and web as username/pass.
I can send you screenshots if you like?

Thanks guys I appreciate your help - just to clarify - I did get my Vodafone dongle to work with Snow Leopard. However it is not seamless.
When I plug the dongle in it gives an error message, although the modem drivers themselves do work (cannibalised from another device).
My issue is with Vodafone themselves. I changed my bank account last September and every month since then they have not taken any money from me and have then disconnected my SIM.
I have called them three times (once a month - paid the bill, reset the Direct Debit) but they have cut me off again today.
I am out of contract and so was exploring what other dongles I could use so I could give Vodafone the bird. I have a business account with Orange but their dongles (including a Huawei) do not mention Mac compatability.

I've not had a chance to test the dongle and it has had to go back, sorry! The box does have ZTE on it, which from what has been posted here would appear to be the make/model type, and as that is said to work, I'd assume this one would.
