Hi folks,

I am off to Aus and Japan next month and really don't want to lug my laptop with me, so I have borrowed a Handspring Visor PDA today to play with. The IR Modem on my mobile works a treat abroad with the laptop for email, but I haven't found a way of doing the same with the visor yet. Is there anything available to get the 2 talking????

You just set the visor to use a Generic IR Modem IIRC from when the guys at work were using the 3Com Palm ahnd the handsprings.

I may be wrong though

Thanks. I checked the settings today on her and in the modem settings only standard is available, no option to choose anything else

Ended up with the IR Enhancement patch from Palm, IrLink 1.5 and Multimailer Pro. Works perfectly. Tried the Eudora stuff as well, but it couldn't reslove addresses to save it's life! At east on y setup.
