new monitor 192w/s screen is blocky

Default new monitor 192w/s screen is blocky

hi i have been given another monitor, a 19" w/s one rather than my old 15" 4x3 one,

the google pages arent appearing in the right colour and are a little blocky especially around logos,
its bang upto date dell one with vista,
do i need to adjust the settings on the moitor or on the graphics card,

i just pressed auto on the screen and it adjusted last night but today its blicky for some reason

Sounds like you need to change the desktop resolution.

It will look best with it set to the native resolution of the monitor, if you can find out what that is.

As above. The resolution must match the displays native resolution and you need to ensure that the refresh rate is set correctly too.

In Vista click right mouse button...

Personalise...

Display Settings....

And slide the "Resolution" slider to max....
