Default New Monitor Time - 24"+

I'm going to get a new fangled flat screen for my desktop, preferably 24" or bigger, resolution of at least 1920x1200, HDMI and other connectors for PS3 etc. useful, any recommendations?

Was thinking of one of these 24? T Model LCD monitor T240 - Design - Monitors | SAMSUNG but have read it uses a TN type panel which is a bit dated now and some of the newer types offer better contrast, colour, viewing angle (maybe using it as a TV as well) etc.

Oh yeah forgot to add, don't mind spending a few £ on it but not mega bucks

Thanks!

These are worth looking at have the 1900-1080P and its fantastic

Scan.co.uk: ET.FS3HE.002 - 24" Acer 243HLbmii, HDMI, Black LED LCD, 1920x1200, 300cd/m2, 80000:1, 2ms, Speakers

This is a reasonable price, are you using it for just work or play?

That's a great looking monitor Tony and very reasonably priced as well

I'm running a pair of 19" Hyundia screens here they are a few years old now and I can't believe how far monitors have come in the time since I've had them.

Ohh, that does look nice, LED backlighting too which is a nice touch

Mostly for play but my desktop does do some light home office stuff and the odd few days of "working from home".

Anyone else?
