I know the kernel is based on the WIn2k OS, albeit dramtically reduced in size, but why does X-Box keep FOUR copies of its BIOS in the 1024k ROM ?
A pessimist could easily say this is to maintain compatibility with games that work on some BIOS revisions and not others ?
Does anyone know the real reason ?
