Looking to buy a highish spec lap top where is the best place to go used or new at a reasonable price, looking for anything over a gig cpu 20 ig h/d etc etc any ideas,

Dell get my vote every time.
I have an Inspiron that I'm very happy with, they're excellent laptops with a very reasonable price tag too.
