M2 memory card - having just bought a 4GB m2 memory card for my wifes new Sony ericcson c510 am a bit unsure on a few things -

1/ the m2 card was supplied with a larger m2 adapter card which is around the same size as a standard sd card, can I use this adapter with the m2 card in conjunction with my computers memory card reader ??

2/ does an m2 memory card have to be formatted before use with the phone ??

3/ if I was to transfer music files ( mp3 ) via the memory card / reader as opposed to via the sony ericsson data suite software would the phone recognise that the mp3 files were to be added to the music section off the phone or will I have to use the supplied software ??

lastly - anyone use the sony c510 cybershot ??having trouble transferring mp3 files over to the phone, just wonder if the phone supports mp3 type ???

Okay thanks for that mate, actually tried the memory card in the phone before I received your reply and seems it accepted the card without having to formatt it first, to be honest not sure what I would have had to formatt it as anyway for use with a phone ??

also this is the link to the m2 card I bought, not so sure its a noraml sd card adapter ?? reason I say that is that when the m2 card is inserted in the larger sd sized adapter and put in the memory card reader the pc is not picking up the installed card, the little light on the sd card reader that is supposd to show green when a card is within is not lighting up

anyway as I say have now got the music transfered over to the memory card in the phone so tahts great, would have just been handy to transfer files via the memory card / card reader itself on occasions.
