Create chart automatically?
I need to create a chart daily, weekly, monthly etc and I need it to happen automatically.
I am sending data from the mainframe to a server, and I need to be able to create a chart from that automatically using excel.
I'm a mainframe boy, so dont' really know much about the server side, any ideas?
Kicking off a script isn't a problem as I can use Tivoli for that, but I don't really know how to automate starting up excel and then importing the data (which I presume will have to be comma separated?) into and creating the chart.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Id use something like SQL reporting services to do this, but theres plenty of examples of excel automation from Wscript or even powershell - heres one from a quick google Automated Excel Tables and Charts
