Default Dual Homed BGP Routing Convergence

Is anyone on here working for a company thats running dual homed Public IP connections running eBGP to two seperate AS'es for resiliency? Im interested to get some real life feedback on the time it takes to failover from one AS to the other i.e how long BGP takes to reconverge. Ive read plenty of theory on it.

Cheers
Simon
