How much would you be willing to pay for a website from me? My exams finish in a few months, and then I'll be trying to drum up as much business as possible so I can save up and get myself a car in November.
So, if you could have a look at my site, www.l2productions.co.uk/webdesign and give me any opinions, any ideas, any comments, any advice, anything really, I'd be grateful. Any business would also be gratefully recieved
Oh and you dont want to go buying off that dreamweaver dude, I'm far better!!!!

That link you gave us was clicked and timed.
On a 128kbps link (dual ISDN) I still had nothing on screen at 3 minutes 30 seconds. Normally I would have given up by 30 seconds.
Don't know what it was doing, but seemed to be downloading stuff but nothing ever displayed.
So, no, going on that, I wouldn't buy a site from you. Sorry.
Cheers
Ian

if you would like to check out the kinds of speed many sites run at (one of my own directed projects i might add), and you like drum and bass, i think this site gives a good balance between speed and interactivity, on 336, up to isdn/cable speeds www.tovmusic.com enjoy

Better ... but (and remember I'm not trying to pi55 on your chips);
a) the page extolling the virtues of animated banners is not animated
b) get yourself a P.O. Box, as the contacts page points to a residential address ... and there are certain security considerations

Ok cheers,
The animated banners page should be fully animated dont know what you mean about that, so I'll check it out.
The address on there is the offices of the main L2 Productions Ltd, it is a house but its used as the office.
I dont mind people being honest, all points will be taken onboard.

1. Hmm OK, firstly the intro isnt even an intro - its just a static page and you have to wait around 10-15 secs to progress onto the main page (I was thinking there was something coming but it never did) - for a page advertising web designs I would expect some decent animation in this day and age where flash is everywhere.
2. Once on the main page it seems very bland other than the main company banner. Some of the text needs aligning/justifying.
3. The portfolio is very sparce with only one 'other' website listed which appears pretty much identical to your own one.
This all just IMHO and Im no website guru but I know what catches my eye. Youve done the right thing about asking for comments as someone else did this recently and got some great comments/input to their site!

You see, thats my problem, I dont have any yet
Not actually even done me GCSEs yet..
I think when I've got time I'm gonna create a load of 'fake' companies and do some websites to show what I can do.
Some of the stuff on there is quite basic (flash in particular) because I'm still teaching myself..
I'm quite proud of what I can do, I'm better than most other 16 year olds, and I did teach myself everything I know. Currently learning PHP after perfecting my HTML skills.
Thanks for all your help and comments, I think I'll work a bit more on the site when I have time.
Oh, by the way, www.andi.tk is my personal site, it takes a slightly different style, and I like it. Just steer clear of me and my immature mates in the forums
