Do you know what version of Wordperfect it was saved in?

If you don't mind emailing it, I can try and convert it for you if you get stuck.

Blimey.........it was a long time ago. We used WordPerfect for DOS from version 5.1 to 6.0 then moved over to the Windows version (Terrible).
Then it was taken over by Borland (I think) and finally by Corel. The IT guys installed it as part of a Corel Bundle.........I remember the box had a big red and white balloon on the front but I guess that's no help LOL
Word gives up trying to convert it
Quick look here says probably Version 9 / 10 as I wrote the document 2000 / 2001

If you PM me your e-mail I'll send it over..... if the NHS limit is big enough
Cheers

It might work, though I'd be more inclined to go for the WordPerfect Office x4 download.
One other thought, stupid of me not to think of this before. OpenOffice!
A quick look at their wiki provided the following:
Does OpenOffice.org support WordPerfect file formats?
Current versions of OpenOffice.org will open WordPerfect files. However, you cannot save to WordPerfect formats from OpenOffice.org
I'd try OO first, and if that won't do the job, go for the WP download

Yeah, I recommended Shaun try OpenOffice earlier too.
I used AbiWord to convert the document which retained the text and the vast majority of the formatting, but lacked the embedded images.

I have 1000s of old WP files in 5.1 I think. I find that WORD will open most of them although the fonts and tabs are buggered a bit. dl
