Only got 1 game...Rally Challenge...there is nowt more realistic on the planet....how do i know this you ask?..Well i was driving the Escort Cosworth..(obviously),and i decided to stop and enjoy the scenery...and whilst my car was on tickover..gently smoking(as all cossies do..!),i looked at the sky..where the clouds gently moved...but what got me was the trees...the leaves were moving in the wind.....i HAVE never seen that before!Well then i drove of at a blistering pace,but unfortunately i keep crashing..cause of that bloody back drop..awesome.......What game should i buy next??????But please nowt to impressive please..as i dont think my pants can take any more soaking...

Got an XBOX in the States while on holiday in November Last year. Unreal, Get Dead or Alive 3. Halo is also awesome both for gamplay and graphics. If you want intensity try Max Payne with the bullet time effects. DOA3 trees move, when you hit a tree leaves fall off. AWESOME.

Si...cause i run the x-box on a 32in..100hz widescreen...,which is perfect for the consoles resoloution plus it is designed for widescreen...,running GT3 on a TV with a console designed for 21" 4:3 max......no comparison....LOL....Not saying the PS2 is bad,just X-box is way ahead......until PS3 of course..maybe.

I thought Id reserve judgement until Id actually played the thing but now I have (like most of yesterday) I can honestly say this is a giant leap forward in console performance - never before has one console pushed the boundaries so much in one fail swoop.

I have just sold my PS2 for £235 with 2 games so got some wonga burning a hole in my pocket.

Lets show traces of evolution here and have a sensible chat about X-Box.

On the subject of GT3, I think its lighting model looks MUCH more realistic than Gothams. The textures in Gotham are poor as well.

X-Box IS the more powerful system (so it should be - its 2+ years on since PS2 was released), but for me personally there's just no games I would buy for it at the moment.

main reason I bought one was $349 yes dollars with 2 controllers and 4 games (halo,shrek,DOA3&max payne)

I live in the uk (yorkshire) but have to admit there are far more PLAYABLE games on the ps2 than the xbox at the moment

only time will tell

GT3 is still the most playable/realistic driving game available in my mind

just got mine yesterday...1)its heavy...2)its butt ugly...3)its heavy...4) its butt ugly!!

i did not fancy any games project gotham does not look good...I get motion sickness with HALO and FPS's in general..the Rally game looks ok on the back but I have yet to see it running....

the only reason I brought it yesterday was because my PS2 gave up ghost(AGAIN)and has gone back to be replaced and I needed to watch american Pie 2 on DVD!!..

PS i thing it's a right cheek having to fork out £299.99 for an ugly box and then £29.99 for the DVD remote and the enabler..

but i am a sucker for gadgets...(STUPID really!!)

It makes me laugh these people who don't want to buy an Xbox because Microsoft make it. Their reason being Microsoft are a huge greedy company. So Sony are just a poor family run business are they? All these companies are power hungry multi billion pound businesses. What Microsoft has done is given Sony a kick up the ****. This is all good it just speeds up the progression of video games. If the games are good, which they are, Rally Sport challange's graphics are just out of this world. Check out the pacific levels. Then buy the machine don't be so bloody narrow minded.

Munna the gameplay is superb as well. It has a slight arcade feel to it but hurtling along at 130 mph then hard braking round a hard right, very satisfying

Luke you can get £160 for the PS2 itself in computer exchange, that is as long as you exchange for something else i.e. xbox I sold mine to a bloke as I was walking out the shop. I had the PS2 1 controller, 2 games, DVD remote and sound system thing. I asked for £200 for the lot so I guess you'll be looking at around the same.
