I recently sent an anonymous mail to someone, needless to say ot wasn't flatering, seeing as on the yahoo profile all the info I gave was crap, is there any way of it being traced to me?

It depends if the recepient of your mail decided to take legal action.
Yahoo does keep track of the TCP/IP address when you sign up and also when you send a mail, so it would posssible although difficult. As theywould then have to go to your ISP and find out who was logged into the server with that TCP/IP address at that time etc....

If legal action was taken it would take your ISP less than a minute to find out who it was. RADIUS logs everything, even the number you dialled in from.
