Jazpiper and Win 2k

I have a Jazpiper mp3 player, since upgrading my PC to Windows 2000 I can no longer get the parallel conection to work, it just doesn't see it.
Does anyone use a Jazpiper under win2k and know what i'm doing wrong. I've messed about with the parallel port settings in the BIOS, still doesn't work.
I've heard you can get a parallel to USB connection, will this help?. Anyone know where i Can get one from.
