Hello, heres the prob... ISA server as firewall, exchange 2000 as mail. Can't put webscan on exchange box (mcafee support doc). So need to run it on the firewall (which is where it should be anyway). But, im using mail server publishing to route all SMTP port 25 to the exchange box. So, the webscan needs to sit on the firewall somehow.. any ideas??? It has a receive port and a send port. But will not listen on 25 as the firewall (mail server publishing) is already there. I would have thought webscan would have been able to get in before ISA but maybe not...

WebScan? Do you mean WebShield. You might want to look at running GroupShield on your exchange box.

Hi Jack, yeah webshield. I want to scan all incoming SMTP mail. Are you saying that if I run Groupshield I don't need SMTP webshield??

As long as the SMTP mail hits the message store we'll scan it.
