iPhone copy contacts to simcard
As above i have had to change my sim card as it was not a 3g sim how do i transfer the contacts on the phone to my new sim card?

What you really want to do then is have a master copy at home. On the PC. That way it doesn't matter if you lose your phone and/or SIM 'cos you can just download them again. Does iTunes not do that for you? Thought it did everything including make a decaf double expresso latte moucha earl grey ...?

I knew nothing but now I know ... Syncing contacts and calendars to iPod with iTunes for Windows
This is essentially what I do. I have all my contacts in Outlook (for historical reasons and the fact that the Nokia software won't synch from Thunderbird) and synch them to the phone. That way I have phone number(s), names, addresses, urls, email addys, etc on the phone and don't have to worry about losing it.
