Default gaming keyboard

What is a good gaming keyboard to buy? I user a cheapo wireless keyboard which is fine for the net but when you play games if you have your finger on the up arrow or W key for more than a few seconds it pauses, you then have to take your finger off the key and press it again. I'm pressuming its due to a cheap wireless setup and was wanting a more quality one so I can start and play the games. The fact you have to keep pressing a key to keep moving sort of spoils the game and makes me not want to play it.
