Default Explorer Problems

Gents, wonder if anyone can help me. Recently ( for the last 3 days ) my internet explorer has gone **** up and when on this site, I see boxes with red crosses in for little icons, and the general format of the site is all over the place.

Other websites like photobucket / ebay are effected, the general screen layout has now become a right mess, links are all over the place, icons images have gone.

For example, as I write this thread, looking at the screen, the little editting icons have been replaced with red crosses, and I see the descriptions, e.g. Thumbs down, wink, red face, talking, instead of the icons themselves.

I reckon some configuration has been altered or switched off, but Im not sure what.

Any ideas ??

Simple fix - install Firefox instead and use that - much better browser and doesnt suffer from the normal Microsoft 'update' problem where each time they update it they make it a bit worse than the previous version.

Agree. Firefox and import your favourites across. Never use IE again.

Job done.

There's some configuration which I need to re-set, or install some plugins.
